04:21 PM ET 12.04 | It's not about where you are from that makes you do the things you do, you learn from your environment, and you make your own decisions in life. I grew up in Virginia, Hampton, in some rough neighborhoods and saw people get shot everyday, robbed and killed. I never heard about any of it in the news. I'm in the military now and I never hear about any of the people that get killed everyday, behind the lines or right here at home. I'm not defending a man that strangles and electrocutes dogs, but I am defending a MAN. I know people who bet on just about anything, nobody says much about chicken fights, or Beta Fish, or I've seen people in the desert put two spiders together or snakes and watch them go and bet on it. Is the life of an animal worth more than that of a human? Is the life of a dog worth more than anything else? Anybody else and no one hears about it. Just like the people who get shot every day in the hood, the people homeless still in Louisiana; give the man a break, let the justice system play out, don't give someone more time for killing some dogs than you would for killing a **** man or woman or kid. It's stupid, it's an animal, get over it.
