Ok, hear me out here because I know your shaking your heads.
Since Matsui left the Yankees the DH has position been impotent. I was going to Goggle the numbers but since we are all DIE-HARD Yankees fans we should all know this. Yes Matsui hasn't started hitting yet for Oakland but he will if he was back in pinstripes. Oakland will let him go for nothing as they are fading fast. We all remember Giradi saying Matsui balances the lineup which he does. Bat him fifth as the DH; then we'll see some good numbers coming out of the DH spot.
One more thing-It would be a classy thing to do by Cashman to let Matsui finish his career back in our pinstripes...What do you think??
