After serving in the U.S. Navy, Konnan began his professional wrestling career in Mexico, wrestling in both Empresa Mexicana de la Lucha Libre and Asistencia Asesora y Administracin. From 1992 to 1993, he worked in the WWF as Max Moon, and in 1996, he began working full time for WCW. In WCW, he helped bring in other Mexican wrestlers to the promotion, as well as being a member of the Dungeon of Doom, NWO wolfpac, No Limit Soldiers, and the Filthy Animals . In 2002, he joined TNA where he was a part of two major alliances: 3Live Kru and The Latin American Xchange. He left the company in 2007 after filing a lawsuit against it, which was eventually resolved.

Konnan was known south of the border, as the "Mexican Hulk Hogan".. Konnan was a superb in ring talent.. He wrestled from '92 to '07, but yet doesn't get mentioned much in the breathe of the rastlin' talk..For his size, Konnan was very quick, and his microphone skills were and probably still ARE top notch.. This guy should be recognized for perfecting his craft.. Just being a wrestling fan, all the way around. LAST but nott least, Konnan was the prototype of a profesional wrestler. Move over, TITO SANTANA!

He's not getting any light now,because he's too outspoken about the dangers of the pro wrestling lifestyle. After Benoit passed away, he started talking and the people behind the scenes(the BOSSES) didn't like what he had to say. He's basically blackballed from the BIG companies(WWE/TNA) because of this.

My god that gimmic and costume was awful!!!

Poor Paul Diamond just couldn't get a good or even average gimmic in WWE.
