I’m writing this week’s article on my flight to Los Angeles. Currently I am sipping water from my plastic cup and wondering if I will be receiving pretzels soon. Three feet in front of me is the first class section of the plane. It’s a small distance, but the difference is milk in actual glasses, a breakfast meal, and seats that are twice as big as mine.
I’m not complaining. I lucked out on this flight, getting a row to myself in one of the extended leg room sections of the plane. I write this to bring up the fact that sometimes in life there is a small difference between greatness and everyone else. Three feet in front of me people are eating fresh fruit and being served warm biscuits, while three feet to their rear I am receiving stern looks for monitoring their activity.
This same fact exists in fantasy football. If you aren’t one of the lucky owners feasting on the fruits of Reggie Wayne’s production, then fear not. This week’s Waiver Wire Wonders aren’t sitting too far behind guys like Wayne, and might put up the same production this week, kind of like having a row on the plane to yourself.
