Did you watch the race or get to see the replays?

Will Boris get back on a Cup track after his out burst or is Cup the second WWE?

Boris will go out with the Biff after and party and enemies on track?

David R. and David Ragan went for one big ride. What did you think of that?

What do you think of cars trying to get back to pit lane and wrecking the racing surface for the rest of the racers?

I saw the replays. And I have to say I don't quite get your comment about "wrecking the racing surface".

Paul Menard drove away yes, but even if he pulled over at the chicane/bus stop area there would still needed to have been a caution for the debris and fluid left on the track from his wrecked car. The replay on the web didn't show the initial wreck just him running the damaged car on the track, but according to the Lap-by-Lap he wrecked in the Esses part of the track with no real pull off area that wouldn't have resulted in a caution.

Brois will be back on a track, probably not until Sonoma next year though. If anything he will have to jump Biffle at home or something.

Already there are complaints in the media about The Glen not having SAFER barriers at the track. While yes there were hard hits by all involved and "tense seconds before drivers answered their radios" I doubt it would have changed much had there been the SAFER barriers. The walls are to stop cars, period. They can have all the shock absorption they want, if you hit it head on and go from 150+ mph to 0 in zero feet, it's going to rattle you.

Had this been a non-NASCAR owned track I would have thought this was a NASCAR media blitz in order to justify potentially taking the race from the track but that is not the case. So from a safety side this is NASCAR's boo boo. We know with fans asking for more road races they aren't going to take one away from their own facility.

The Davids' wreck:
Wasn't there a similar wreck in that spot last year in either the Cup race or NW. To me what area probably needs to be re designed. While everyone is single file it's fine, but once you get guys going through there 2-3 wide that real estate gets eaten up fast and you end up bouncing cars off the narrow walls. Looks like it might be time to look at why that wall on the left side of the track extends out that far and if it can be moved back.

I thought it was one wild race. They ought to move Homestead race to the fourth of july and have them run the final race at Daytona and make them run the infield road couse as the Grand-Am cars do.

I don't understand why Boris keeps getting called to do road races......he is not that good....always has problems on the track.....he did not mean for the two Davids to crash like that, but he is a road pig nonetheless......Reutimann was still having a hard time after exiting his car....I hope he is ok today.

Did not get to see the race, my job interferes with my Nascar LOL....but saw Rueti's crash on Vid replays....very happy for Ambrose......will watch the race tomorrow as it is replayed in my area on Weds 12 - 3 pm (will only be able to see the last hour).

Don't have enough details to comment on Boris & Biff......but sounds like it could be a cartoon name LOL

Work preventing me from watching the race. Last night I watched some of the replays on Speed. Biffle looked like a little sissy running away from Boris and hiding behind two huge crewmen. The wreck of David and David was terrible, but the wreck Hamlin had looked even worse. Tickled for Ambrose. When he talked about moving his family here from Tasmania because he wanted to make it in NASCAR, it put his career in a little different light. I am not sure many other drivers have taken that big of a gamble with their families and their careers.

Wife DVRd it so I watched it last night.

Raist, what I saw from Paul wasn't that he could have pulled off and avoided a yellow, but that by continuing, he put oil and water over more of the track than if he had just pulled over. He probably didn't realize the car was written off and being competitive, wanted to get to the pits and try to get back on track.

I would like to see safer barriers on all tracks. But as pointed out, they really don't help on head on collisions. Denny's hit was hard enough to move the concrete buried in the ground! One of the good things about the new cars and gear, he walked away.

I lost a lot of respect for Biff. Man up!

The so called "ringers" haven't had a lot of success for the last several years.

I was really happy for Marcus, he's been close before. Now I want to see him win on an oval. Especially since he's on my fantasy roster!

I didn't get to see the little jabs that Boris claimed Biffle made inside his window but I saw the cameras on Boris afterward (and Biff behind crew members). If Biffle indeed took some swings and then ran, then yeah, that's not cool.

If it didn't happen like Boris said, then he needs to cut out all the grade school "I'm gonna beat you up" schtick. I'm sick of all the macho bullcrap where we people want to take swings or "settle it out back". Show some professionalism.

I didn't see Biffle throw any punches, and I'll take the word of a NASCAR regular over a guy that races in two races a year.

And if Biffle did punch and run off, that's a pansy move, but after listening to both interviews on the subject, I agreed with Biffle more. Boris does just race at two races a year, and for a so called road course specialist, he's been pretty mediocre, and causes a lot of crashes.

Biff should have shoved Boris's car like Kyle did to Harvick. LOL

Didn't know the Glen was "nascar" owned ... condition of walls is a real surprise in that case.

Owned by International Speedway Corporation (ISC) which Bill France Sr. started. ...

ISC is controlled by the France family, but it is separate from NASCAR. About 35% of the stock in ISC is owned by the France family.

...also the Yellow Flag ;) Hot Dog Wrappers .... from ISC own Americrown, food service that operates concession stands at its tracks.

the other road course, Infineon Raceway or Sonoma is Owned by Bruton Smith / Speedway Motorsports, Inc. or SMI

Looks like Kyle has found himself in first place. Kyle and Carl are tied for the lead.
