Well, the Bucs really blew it in Houston yesterday, but you cannot blame McCown. The play calling was awful and the defense did a piss poor job on third downs. When you can't stop a team on third down you are in trouble. But, the tone of the game was set in the first quarter on the Bucs opening drive. Gruden decided to go for it on 4th down instead of punting. Bad decision. That early in a game you must be thinking about field position. WHen you have arguably the best punter in the league, why not try to pin Houston back as far as possible. Gruden had to be thinking of his choice a week earlier against the lowly Saints when he made the call. BIG MISTAKE! Houston got great field position and drove right down the field. Would the Bucs have won had they punted and pinned them back? No one knows, but I think that play set the tone for the afternoon and pumped up the Texans. The defense still had all those 3rd down failures, but still I think the steam ran right out of the Bucs when they missed that conversion.
The Bucs need to win one more game to win the NFC South and I expect them to do so. They will likely end up with the number 4 seed in the NFC and will probably face the wild card Giants in round one. If they get by them it's likely a trip to Dallas next. Very slim chance of a win there. I picked the Cowboys in the Super Bowl at the beginning of the season and I will stick with that pick. I also picked the Colts in case you were wondering.

Bucs would of won with Garcia at QB. Cant expect McCown to pull off two back to back road wins. His stats were inflated last week due to playing worse pass defense in NFL: Saints.
