This is a widely debated topic. Is it M.J. and Pippen? Shaq and Kobe? Russell and Bird? Who? Well, I really fought myself on this one. It came down to M.J./ Pippen or, one not earlier mentioned, Stockton/ Malone. I decided to chose......John Stockton and Karl Malone.
I chose these guys over the Bulls dynamos because the Bulls' guys were more like only M.J.. He was the one who led them to 6 titles, Pippen only had a little to do with it. While on the other hand, credit between Stockton and Malone is evenly distributed. Stockton would come down the court, and dish it of to Malone or another guy, usually Malone. But looking at it from the other view, Malone would recieve Stockton's pass and finish with a strong slam. Stockton accounted for 13 points, 10 assists, and 2 steals a game over his career. He finished holding the assist and steal records. Malone accounted for 25 points, and 10 rebounds. "The Mailman" ended his career second on the all-time scoring list only to Kareem Abdul-Jabaar, first on all-time defensive rebounds and free-throw attemps.
These two teammates came extremely close to knocking M.J. and the Bulls off their throne, if it weren't for the famous shot M.J. made fading to the left, they would have. They were the only people who came close to accomplishing this feat.
One last thing I need to tell you about these two amazing player's careers in that Malone had 2 MVP awards to Stockton's 0. Thanks for reading this blog.

Personally though, even though they're not the best duo, my favorite duo is Robinson & Duncan.
