Mavericks owner Mark Cuban might have hated a result he called "hurtful" and "painful." He's not ready to demolish his team, from the front office to the coaching staff to the players. As he did earlier in the series, Cuban defended Dirk Nowitzki, the leading candidate for league MVP honors.
Cuban hurts the Mavs because he takes the players' focus off the game. The media is talking about his feud with Don Nelson and the players are getting less attention.
