The past regular ncaa football season was on for the ages with all of the upsets that have ocurred. With the preseason rankings as of the following 1. USC 2. LSU 3. West Virginia 4. Texas 5. Michigan 6. Florida 7. Wisconsin 8. Oklahoma 9. Virginia Tech 10. Loisville. That is the top ten and what i was thinking as the season started where is ohio state sure the lost last year in the nat. championship but still the are a very good team but as i expected the have came through as they usually do topping the big ten confrence with a 7 and 1 record. It all started in week one when they hosted youngstown state and just desroyed every aspect of there team defeating them 38-6 with todd beockman passing for over 200 yards and 2 scores. Todd is a very versitile player and an important aspect of the team. The rest of the season was pretty smooth defeating akron,washington,northwestern,minnisota,23 purdue, kent state, mich. state, 25 penn state, 21 wisconsin the everything looked as if it was all falling apart as they fell hard to a decent team in there conference Illinois people think they beat them with there spread offense sure it played a big part but osu did not play d at all which dissapointed me. But the couldnt sob in there lose for long because they had hard game the next week against michigan but as i said ohio state never lets me down and they came through with a victory 14-3. Putting at number 4 while the final week played outh the 1 2 3 teams all lost putting ohio at 1 now they play a very good lsu team who should not even be in it because they jumped georgia in the rankings........almost every #2 team lost this season and this season had the most ranked teams lose to an unranked team in the history of the sport... a very crazy season...
Go OSU
thats badgerfan for letting me bolg for osu

Everybody keeps talking about what a crazy season, the year of the upset, etc. But even after all the upsets, if you look at your list, 5 of the top 10 are BCS teams:
LSU, USC, Oklahoma, West Virginia, and Virginia Tech.
They are all conference champions, as well: SEC, Pac 10, Big 12, Big East, and ACC.
So the only upset of a conference champion was in the Big 10, with OSU winning instead of Michigan, and they still even had a chance.
So, after it was all said and done, all those upsets really didn't do all that much. The teams that were supposed to be in the BCS at the start of the year ended up there at the end.
The only exception is OSU. And they shouldn't ever be counted out like they were to begin with.
