This Pittsburgh Steelers host the Jacksonville Jaguars for a critical AFC Battle this Sunday 1pm EST (CBS).  Both teams have an identical record of 9-4 this season, yet Jacksonville leads the overall series by 10-8...  The "Men of Steel" have won 3 of the last 5 match-ups.....  A Steeler victory results in an undefeated record @ home as well as an AFC North Playoff Berth (as long as the Browns lose this week) ...

Jaguars Offense:  Led by Gerrard(QB).  He has 13 TD's & only one interception this year.  Played college ball @ East Carolina, is big, & accurate in the passing aspect... F. Taylor & Jones-Drew are the ground attack...  Taylor is having a pro-bowl year and Jones-Drew is as much a great blocker as a power rushing back (not to mention a top fantasy draft last year)...  The two main recievers are R. Williams (7 TD's) &  D. Northcutt (3 TD's).  Both play @ a high professional level.  Making them a definate challenge for the Steeler DB's...

Jaguars Defense:  Despite blowing out the Panthers last week by a score of 37-6, have a relatively poor Secondary.  The Steeler WR's will definately be able to exploit this mis-match...  They also have 3 key defensive players out for this weeks game due to injury...

In a nutshell, the Jaguars & the Steelers are very similar teams...  With both teams focused on stopping the rush game, this particular battle is quite likely to result in a full-out aerial assault...  Roethlisberger has the upper hand w/ WR's that are more athletic...  Also, the weather channel is predicting a cold day w/ plenty of snow.  This puts the Jaguars out of their warm sunny element of Florida...

Maybe next year Jacksonville...  GO STEEL!!!!!
