Kansas vs Georgia Tech - last 8.2 seconds

Dang . . so consensus #3 pick Kansas is VERY mortal.  They couldn't shake a Georgia Tech team that is 4-4 . . with about 8.2 seconds left, they were only up 69-66, with a chance to be forced into OT by the Yellow Jackets.  Then, of course, the funniest thing bailed them out - the GT guard, maybe too tight, maybe too inconfident in their ability to break the defense - throws a quick, too-strong pass that appears to be totally unexpected by his backcourt mate, and he fumbles it, 50 feet away from their goal - the goal that should be the only thing they see, the only thing they focus on, drilled into them and pounded into them just a few seconds ago by their sweating, gritted-teeth coach - but oh, why d'you have to throw it?  Why hand off the pressure to me???  I DON'T WANT IT!!!!  And quick as lightening, it's over.  The Jayhawk guarding him (the dazed recipient of the pass) picks off the ball like a hawk coming down for a mouse, swooping low to the ground and grabbing that ball and within 4 steps had dribbled it to their own goal to lay it up.  71-66!  It's out of reach!  Thank you!  Goodbye!  That was nerve-wrecking while it lasted.
