In response to:
Super Bowl moving to foreign soil?
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell touched on the possibility of the Super Bowl being played outside the United States. "We have talked in-house about that," he said. "It is truly an international event. London, Toronto, and Mexico City have been discussed. Because of time-difference issues, those are the logical ones. Nothing could happen before 2012.

Hey why not.  Tickets for the Super Bowl generally cost more than most average people make in a week and in some cases more than a monthly check. So why not make it even more inacessable for the true NFL fan by putting it in a distant locale? I hope the NFL and Commisioner Godell get a clue real soon. Don't market football internationally at the cost of losing the fan base domestically. Preseason games are one thing, and regular season games played abroad is bad enough.  But play the ultimate game abroad? No way. If anything, the NFL should figure out how to make the Super Bowl more affordable for the fans who follow their teams faithfully from draft day to the postseason.
