Jose has a new home.
After signing a $1.9 Million deal with Florida, Jose Castillo (who--despite being benched by the PIRATES--claimed he was good enough to start for another team) and his whopping 2007 HR total (0) is heading to South Beach to play with a bunch of other nobodys. Yes, nobodys. WHYGAVS points out that the Marlins payroll is so unbeleivably low that the $1.9M deal makes Castillo the highest paid player on the team. Sounds like the Fish must be a pretty bad team, right? Well, we'll find out who wins more games in '08, the cheap Marlins or our Buccos. Right now it's up in the air (at best).
