Giant rips fans selling tickets
The Giants aren't thrilled that their fans are bailing on them this week, selling out to Patriots fans desperate to witness history. But they aren't surprised. "That's probably one of the reasons why we are better on the road than we are at home," said running back Brandon Jacobs. "If it is that way and they got more fans, then so be it. It could work out to our advantage." It's unclear how many Patriots fans will be able to get their hands on tickets for Saturday night's game, but the Daily News reported Wednesday that there were more than 150 tickets available on StubHub for upwards of $1,000. On Wednesday there were no tickets available on the Giants' online TicketExchange, where season-ticket holders can sell their seats to fans on the waiting list at a controlled price. But there were hundreds of tickets available on eBay, where prices were out of control. Many sellers were asking for more than $1,000. Some were asking for as much as $3,000 per ticket. One seller was asking for $25,000 for four tickets in Section 135 and a parking pass. The average face value for a ticket at Giants Stadium is $83.50.

oh no the fans can finally make some money back.  we pay a extreme price for tix, parking, and everything else that goes along with our favorite team and this guy has the cahoonas to rip us for selling a ticket whose average price is 83.50 for let's say 500.00.  no brainer watch it on tv. less disappointing then in person.

screw jacobs and the g-men

If they didn't constantly suck at home, maybe they wouldn't have to deal with this. Didn't Kareem McKenzie take the fans to task 2 weeks ago about booing? This is like a team full of A-Rod's. As much as they like to think they're playing for pride and personal glory, the reality is they're playing for us - the fans. They're better on the road because the fans are mean to them? Come on already... instead of complaining, how about saying something like: "I can appreciate the fans perspective - $1,000 is a lot of money. But we really could use thier support in this next game and we'd love to have our 12th man out there on the field with us."

It would make the team a lot easier to like hearing comments like that.
