This blog is about all the upsets of this year. We will start with USC's season

Week 1: They came into the game #1, and went out #1 with a 38-10 win. They stayed #1 until week 5, when they barely managed to clip Washington, 27-24. LSU leap-frogged them. The very next week, against Stanford, they lost on a lat second TD by 1. They dropped to #9 then. They lost again in week 9 to a hot Oregon, 24-17. They went on fire after that, winning 4 straight and beating Arizona State by 20. They play Illinois in the Rose Bowl.

Next team: LSU

They started out 6-0, and, garnishing a #1 ranking, went into Commonwealth Stadium. There, they battled the Kentucky Wildcats for 3 OTs until Jacob Hester got stuffed at the line on a fourth down try. They lost that game, 43-37. They played 2 straight nail-biters after that and then cruised for 2 games until they met Arkansas. Darren McFadden thrashed them for 300 yards in a game that the Wild Hogs won in 3 OTs,  50-48 because of a failed 2 point conversion. They ended up winning the SEC and going to the National Championship.

Next team: Ohio State

There was only one upset in their season, when Illinois and Juicy Williams beat them, 28-21.

Next  team: Missouri

These guys were predicted as sleepers in the regular season, and they sure were! They started the season unranked, went 5-0, lost to Oklahoma once, then won out the rest of the regular season. They went into the Big 12 Championship #1, and were blown out by(surprise!) Oklahoma for the second time that year, 38-17. They were snubbed for a BCS Bid, and are playing Arkansas in then Cotton Bowl.

Next team: West Virginia

They started out 4-0, then went down to Flordia to play South Flordia. They lost their, 21-13, and the whole stadium mobbed the field. Then they won 6 straight to get them to 10-1 and to #2, and everybody thought they were in the National Championship. Surprise! The next, there was yet another upset. Pittsburge beat them in a low scoring affair, 13-9. Now they are in the Fiesta Bowl against Oklahoma.

Next team: California

These Golden Bears started out 5-0, then, Cal being #2, Oregon State went downto California to play them. There, California's coach made the bonehead play of the year, trying to run the ball to the outside instead of spiking the ball to stop the clock. I think we all know how that went. Cal lost, 31-28, and then lost 5 of their next 6 to go 6-6. And tjhey some how made it to the Armed Forces Bowl(what's that? Lol.) against Air Force.

Next Team: Michigan

Michigan started out the season #5, but then things didn't start too well. They lost to Appalachian State in a nail biter because of a blocked field goal that broke my heart as a Michigan fan. The next week, they had another loss, losing to Oregon 39-7. They went on to an 8-4 record and Capital One Bowl Bid against Florida and first ever underclassmen Heisman winner, Tim Tebow.

Next team: South Florida

They started out 6-0 and going into New Jersey to play Rutgers, they were #2. They were beat by a field goal, 30-27. From there they went on a 3 game losing streak, but then a 3 game winning streak. They ended the regular season 9-3 and are playing Oregon in the Sun Bowl on December 31st.

Next and final team: Louisville
