It's pathetic that only 6 out of over 117 college jobs are filled by African Americans although many have paid their dues as assistant coaches and coordinators for years.
It's getting even tougher with coaches now naming their succesors sometimes years in advance. While every other sport seems to be making advances college football seems stuck in the 1960's. Read a great article on this topic by using the link below:

Well, now that we have a black president, all of that will be solved quickly...I am guessing within the First 100 Days. First though, The O must save the rest of the world and cure cancer before he can tackle these more important problems. I can never understand why these same people who scream that there "aren't enough black coaches in such-and-such league" never say anything about the disproportionate number of WHITES actually PLAYING in the NBA...??
