Charlie Weis is a football mastermind. His knowledge for the game brought the dulled Irish gold, under Coach Tyrone Willingham, back to the shining luster it has today. His coy offensive strategies and willingness to let sick children call his plays makes him a frontrunner for the coach of the year award. He is a disciple of Bill Parcels and Bill Belichick, two of the greatest active NFL coaches. He has four Super Bowls under his belt and a New Jersey High School state championship. The only level of football that he has not won the biggest game is in college. This, more than any can be his year with quarterback Brady Quinn and wide out Jeff Samardzija to take home the title. Let’s hope the Luck of Weis translates into the Luck of the Irish.

Weis even looks like Parcels

Once the team is used to the new defensive scheme, Weis will lead this team all the way.

Charlie Weis is a disgraceful foul-mouthed slob. Pete Carroll beats the Fat Man like a drum for seven - soon to be eight - consecutive years. When I look at successful NCAA coaches like Jim Tressel, Urban Meyer, Mack Brown, Bob and Mike Stoops, I see character and class. Why a proud and storied university like Notre Dame would hire this "abomination of pork" boggles my mind.
