Since the demise of the Newbie Group
I am moving my posts here- Keep in mind this is a little old so be nice.
Welcome to your First Class
I am your Host.
You may call me sensei.
If you will notice, My TD record may not approach some of our other staff members and may in fact, never reach the leaderboard. But I feel I have the respect of my peers and I win far more often than I should because I am quite good at what I do.
As some of you may know, I work DSL Tech Support for a National Company, and that gives me a lot of time to do things online that my work firewall allows me too.
One of these is Fannation.
I take pretty much any TD offered except baseball and I do like to argue uphill. One benefit of my personality Is that I enjoy winning the argument regardless of score.
This class I will break down my own TD and point out how it may be able to help you be better TDers in the future.
My first Case tonight is
In this one I am going WAY uphill plus going against my player, Steve Smith.
Go read and come back.
Notice what I did there- I turned the entire argument about 1 pass route, and my opponent was unable to turn it another direction.
Did I believe what I put? Was I right? Heck no! And told my opponent that fact after the TD.
I still cannot believe I won this one. This is why my record is what it is.
This is the classic case of pounding one point, again and again.
My Second Case is one of the By-Laws of Fannation
Thou shalt not overestimate the ignorance of Fannation
Again read and come back.
here I lost due to 1 position, QB
My opponent even admits my team is better and I still lost.
and that is another reason why my record is what it is.
Finally we go to the extreme!
Notice in EACH argument he states mine is better- but yet is still ahead as of this writing.
SO take a look- and I hope this helps you all be a little better.
