- AFC - #3 San Diego (11-5) hosts #6 Tennessee (10-6) @ 4:30 pm on Sunday, January 6th
- AFC - #4 Pittsburgh (10-6) hosts #5 Jacksonville (11-5) @ 8 pm on Saturday, January 5th
- NFC - #1 Dallas (13-3) and #2 Green Bay (13-3) get January 5/6 byes in the NFC
- NFC - #3 Seattle (10-6) hosts #6 Washington (9-7) @ 4:30 pm on Saturday, January 6th
- NFC - #4 Tampa Bay (9-7) hosts #5 New York Giants (10-6) @ 1 pm on Sunday, January 6th
Meanwhile, the Cleveland Browns have the stay at home during the playoffs despite a 10-6 record which ties Pittsburgh for best in the AFC North and is better than 2 NFC playoff teams.
