This one is getting to be a tad old already but looks to be a done deal with Clint going to MWR.

Mikey just loves he adage of any talk about him and his team is good for him, but come on lets get it over with already.

Is this good for Clint?

Is this a good match for MWR?

Is this bad or good RCR?

Is this good for NASCAR?

Is this possibley making room for another driver coming up threw the ranks or will RCR contract one spot to 3 cars again?

Have any opinion on this or just as willing to go cut the grass?

MWR has also signed Scott Miller as Executive Vice President of Competition. He is also leaving RCR to take this post. Perhaps RCR is going to 3 cars. Miller has been around for a long while and is considered to know his business.

Also on this ... MWR has paved the way for a third team with Bowyer, by ending its affiliation with JTG Daugherty Racing, which had housed its #47 entry at MWR headquarters as part of its alliance. ...

so sounds like Clint getting the #47 cars at MWR with a new #?? ...#47 = 29th in Points with 1 top5, 2 top10, and right behind #00 Reutimann who 28th in points ... #56 Truex is 17th in points ...

Team owner Brad Daugherty plans to keep his organization on track next season but is currently looking at options to align with another team, with speculation of a partnership with Richard Petty Motorsports. ... or maybe RCR? ...

With NO sponsor for a 4th Team at RCR .... i am thinking back to only 3 teams ...

and who left for Drivers .... Vickers, or Elliott Sadler from KHI/RCR NationWide team (Part Time) with Austin Dillion for 7 races? ...

... and 30% of Rain on Friday - Sat

Shame he couldn't cut it in Cup.

Your kidding, aren't you? sometimes I cant tell

I'd rather cut the grass at this point.

Or better yet, sit on the balcony with an adult beverage and remember that last really good cigar while I look at the ducks coming in on the pond...

RCR should stay with 3 cars. It seems like whenever they try for 4 it brings the whole organization down, Harvick being the exception so far this year.

No I'm not kidding at all.

6 years in Cup... 208 races - with 4 wins and an average finish of 15.6, and now relegated to MWR racing.

That in my mind makes him one of the "also rans".

Do not forget Last Year ... keep the WIN, but Lost 150 points ...

so is it 4* Wins ?

I know this is off topic but the weather up here in NH doesn't look to hot for this weekend. Thet may be racing on Monday again or a rain shortened race.

I Will be nice since I am talking about your home state, but (jokingly!) I was just thinking a rain shortened race is about the best news I could hear about racing at Loudon.

Regardless.. just my opinion, but at least, statistically, he is the 13th best "full bodied race car" (these aint stock cars anymore!) in the country today. And if I recall, he was a chaser last year.

I'm stunned at you throwing out statistics like that. The final point you make about going to the MWR team does seem to be the death knell for any chance he had at a points championship.
