I hope that the Georgia Bulldogs and the Florida Gators are proud of themselves for not having the intestinal fortitude to accept a Rose Bowl invitation for 2008. The Bulldogs beat up Hawaii, a junior college team from the lowly WAC, and the Gators couldn't even beat the hapless Michigan Wolverines.  Illinois lookes so bad in the Rose Bowl that it was a frank embarassment to the Rose Bowl Committee who selected them.  The Big 10 has never been weaker than it was in 2007-2008, yet the Ohio State "pretenders" got invited to the title game.  LSU will demolish the over-rated Buckeyes.  LSU deserves the National Championship, but the Georgia Bulldogs and the Florida Gators disgust me for being afraid to play the USC Trojans in the Rose Bowl.  If the SEC football teams are afraid of competition, why do they even bother to play football?

Is this a joke?

You're an ignoramus.

The SEC didn't get a Rose Bowl bid because the Rose Bowl is and has always been Big 10 vs. PAC 10 in non-BCS title game years. Do your homework idiot.

I see you're another one of these pro SEC ****'s... so here's a newsflash for you...

Michigan **** STOMPS, and yes I mean STOMPS UF. How you ask? Had it not been for our bonehead RB, we double up on Crybaby Meyer and co.

Arkansas gets STOMPED by the 2nd best team of the 2nd most overrated conference in the country... behind only the SEC of course.

Georgia outclassed Hawaii as expected.

And a good UT beats a good UW, efectively making that the SEC's best win as of yet.

Bottom Line: The SEC ain't ****!!! Fact of the matter is that no one conference is decisively better than any other conference.

Look for OSU to win and win big over LSU. You heard it first from me...****!

UGA is playing Arizona St. next year, and Tennessee is playing UCLA next season also. I don't think the SEC is that afraid to play the Pac 10.

USC is playing Ohio St., but the Pac 10 usually schedules very well.

Granted, UF scheduled a reeling Hawaii team and a struggling Miami team for next season. It's a step up from Western Carolina though.
