Start from the start I suppose.  Before I get to the meat of this (never done a blog, interesting time to start) I'll examine why I'm doing this.  Is it because I'm too lazy to mention stuff about myself everytime I meet someone on here? Is it because my profile keeps telling me to start blogging?  Is it because writing this down might release some stress?  Probably a mix of the three.  Screw it, onwards.

I'm a Navy brat, born and raised along both coasts til the fam settled down in RI about 15 years ago.  Did the high school sports scene (Track, football), some scrapes with the law, did the college scene in the hills of Vermont (Norwich U) for awhile in an attempt to get the military to straighten me out.  It was halfway successful, I dropped ROTC and enlisted in the army reserves.  Got all the way to my senior year at a University in Newport, RI when our mother unit in Boston got activated.  It's been a blinding flash ever since then, so it's good to go to a site like this where it doesn't matter what's going on outside the walls, I just wanna keep up on what's going on in sports.

It was kinda cool running into Schwartz on here, turns out we're at the same base.  Small world!  We even eat at the same dining facility sometimes.  I haven't run into him face to face yet, and I probably won't seeing as the AF is usually running around in their PT uniforms, no nametapes.  I wouldn't know him from any of the other airmen. 

But still, kindred spirit.  It's always good to meet and greet some of the other services here, I got in with one of the Navy Customs guys and he gave me some tips for...uh...nevermind.

 I haven't seen a venue I feel strongly enough about to throwdown for yet, but I get on here when I can.  I even joined a "Night Owls" group that Tracy invited me to (thanks Tracy) which has some more veteran (get it? ha!) members in it that I can learn from and just shoot the Shiite with.  Ok that last pun was terrible.

I think the next entries will be more sports related, just thought I'd put this one out there for now.  See you around!
