Well, I want to say thanks to all those who are hanging in there with me and the great game of soccer.  We appreciate all who continue to show interest in soccer.  Without anymore talk, I will answer a couple of questions that were sent to me.

Question 1: Who do you see as the frontrunner to win the World Cup?

Answer:  Well, you always have to keep your eyes on the big powers such as Brazil, Germany, France, etc.  But I'd have to say that right now I just don't have the guts to go against the defending champs.  That's right, I think Italy are a huge favorite heading in.  They have lost a couple of players, but they are still a very good side.  I'm not predicting a win, but they are definitely a very strong contender.

Question 2: How do you see the USA doing in the Cup?

Answer: I feel that the US has a good chance of doing well.  I believe that if everyone steps up and we get a good draw, we can get to the quarter-finals.  But if I had to guess where we would be knocked out of the tourney at, I would say in the Round of 16.  As long as we don't get another group of death, we should be able to make it out of the first round.

Today, I will start a new segment called "Quote of the Day".  Today, the quote is about the transfer of Dimitar Berbatov of Tottenham.

'Berbatov will cost more than £30m', those are the words of Tottenham manager Juande Ramos.

If you have a question that you would like me to answer, then please fanmail Keeper.  I will do my best to answer all your questions.  Thanks for your time.

Getting bold with an Italy pick, eh, Keeper? A little less bold with the Round of 16 for the US, though... nice work...

A lot of money for Berbatov, no? I read rumors awhile back linking him to United, and I wonder if that is still the case.

Pretty bold of you to back the Azzuri. I always believe it's best to back Brazil until they blow it.
