NBA and MLB are one and the same

The more things change the more they stay the same. Same old recycled head coaches regardless of the sport. When it comes to the NBA the same old coaches get fired and get hired to work somewhere else a year or two later . D'Antoni gets another big pay check to do the same old thing run, run, run, and no defense team loses in the playoffs keeps his job then get fired later. What about Brian Shaw, Alex English, Herb Williams, Bob McAdoo, or even Kareem give the guys who played for the Lakers and won championships with them a chance. D'Antoni over them and Phil Jackson what a damn joke. This guy will be a failure like he was in New York and Phoenix run up and down the floor trying to out score the opponent and no defensive plan. I hope the Clippers sweep the Lakers and send Kobe and Nash into retirement and Howard to Miami, then Cleveland, then Phoenix, then Boston, then retirement without a ring.

With an aging Kobe, an old Steve Nash, a crazy Metta Peace, a wanna be Shaq in Howard, and Gasol. The last time I looked the Thunder played the Heat in the finals last year not the Lakers. If you want my opinion which is a pretty damn good one when it comes to this sport. The Lakers were better with Bynum in their lineup a real NBA center not a power forward playing center in Howard. The Thunder because of last season's performance should be number 2 in the power ranking. If the Clippers stay healthy with the best point guard in the NBA running the Lob City show. Then adding a group of seasoned veterans coming off the bench providing strength, leadership, and teaching young guys Blake, Jordan, and Bledsoe how to let the game come to them. I must say this, the Clippers with Odum and Billiups championship experience will be a huge positive for Blake, Jordan, and Bledsoe. Throw in Grant Hill, Crawford, Barnes, Hollins, Turiaf, and Greene this could be the best team in LA and not the Lakers. CP3 needs to commit long term with the Clippers. Those veterans players could have gone to the Heat, Thunder, Lakers, or Spurs but they choose the Clippers and that says alot the direction they are going. Listen up sports fans before the season starts write this down the Clippers will be the team coming out of the west if Vinny listens to his veteran players.

Shaq what's the problem with Dwight Howard wanting to be like you ? Both of you played center for the Orlando Magic and lead your teams to the NBA finals and lost. Both of you bolted the Magic and went to the Los Angeles Lakers, Kobe playing with you, Dwight playing with Kobe. He is hoping to win a title with an aging old Kobe and Nash. Failing to relaize that the team to be on in LA is the Clippers and not the Lakers. You dominated on the offensive end, he's more dominate on the defensive end. He's a terrible free throw shooter like you, he likes to have fun and has a great personality like you, and uses the same moniker "Superman" like you. I think the youngman admires you Shaq and you should stop disrespecting him and respect and appreciate the youngman and his contributions to the game. Take it as a compliment and try to help encourage the youngman like Wilt, Kareem, and Mikan did when you first joined the Lakers. They didn't bash you when you became a Laker so don't bash Dwight. Embrace him like you were embraced by three of the greatest Laker centers ever. It's a compliment to you that Dwight is folowing in your foot steps and as a retired elder you should be giving him constructive criticisim and not destructive. Take a lead from MJ you never heard him talking down on Wade, or Kobe when they, "WANTED TO BE LIKE MIKE IF THEY COULD BE LIKE MIKE".

NFL fans listen up

Until the fans stop attending NFL games and watching NFL games on national tv the team owners are in no hurry to settle the lockout with the real refs. After watching the replacement refs blow the final play of the Packers and Seattle game tonight I'am boycotting the NFL until they pay the professional refs to officiate professional football games played by professional football players. I don't see the humor in these incompetent officials currently making a mockery of the sport. They are fine for refereeing Pop Warner and High school games but the NFL game is to fast for them. They are not trained or experienced to do the job that the locked out refs have done for years. The fans need to speak up and boycott the games until the lockout is settled. The replacement refs pissed me off for the last time tonight calling a Hail Mary a touchdown when the Seattle player never had possession of the football with two refs looking right at the play along with a national tv audience. What a damn joke! The NFL owners need to settle the lockout now so the fans can enjoy the rest of the season. I will watch baseball, basketball, The Voice, Dancing with the stars, or the Xfactor and not the NFL until the lockout is settled.

NFL fans love their teams and are looking forward to everything this season has to offer. The top picks in this years draft Luck and RGIII are off to good starts creating a buzz around the league that hasn't been seen in a long time. Peyton Manning is back after being out for over a year and is starting to look like the Peyton of old with his new team. It appears that this is going to be an exciting year for the NFL with all the new faces in different places. But there is one big problem that is going to ruin it and the season, and that is the replacement refs. After watching two weeks of football and last nights Broncos/Falcons debacle it's time to settle with the professional refs so the fans can enjoy professional football. Every call that was made last night including the call made by the ref standing in the end zone looking at an obvious TD catch but called it out of bounds. It was reviewed and overturned to a touchdown catch. When does the madness end? Too many pass interference calls made in favor of the Falcons and very few made against them . It was a poorly called game that got out of hand and the fans deserve better. Commissioner Goodell stop the madness and settle with the guys that don't need 4 to 5 hours to make the right calls and speed up the game. This is not good for football, the fans, or the sponsors. These replacement refs are amateurs not professional refs and not good enough to be calling NFL games. Enough is enough stop the madness now before the fans stop watching. If we wanted to watch clowns we would go to a circus not a professional football game.

L A Clippers making smart off season moves

The Lakers and Dodgers are not the only LA teams making solid moves to improve their teams. The smarter moves have been made by the Clippers who should advance to the Western conference finals. By adding experience veterans Odom, Hill, Crawford, Turiaf, and Barnes it will take some of the pressure off Paul, and Griffin and give them the needed rest come playoff time. All the coach has to do is encourage them to play to their strength. These were solid off season moves that tells me somebody in the Clipper front office knows what their doing . I know it's football season but I had to give the Clippers their props since Lakerland thinks the addition of Howard is the second coming of Shaq.

Curtis Strange should be ashame

After watching the 2012 Open and listening too Curtis Strange constantly criticized Tiger in the final round of Open play on national TV . I came away thinking who is he to criticize one of the greatest golfers ever in the hunt for major win number 15 . The only relevant golfer who can double and triple the national TV ratings and bring people to ESPN to watch a game most of them can't afford to play. I know Tiger won't speak negatively on the subject of those small minded announcers or play by by loser Curtis Strange about his hatred toward Tiger and wanting him to lose . Because he is a winner and a bigger man than Strange . If you look at his professional record he has less PGA wins , less green jackets , and less major wins than Tiger yet he of all people found it necessary to be critical of him . You never hear Jack Nicholas say one negative thing about Tiger when he is playing in his or Arnold Palmerwhen playing in his tournaments . Curtis Strange was constantly bashing Tiger to the point of calling him stupid . While singing the praise of the real loser Adam Scott thinking he had this major win in the bag . Here's an FYI to Curtis , Adam Scott is no Tiger Woods and never will be no matter how long he plays , he's a choker . He choked in the end Curtis Strange and made you look like the hateful damn fool that you are and all those watching witnessed it on ESPN . I'm sure you were also ready to sing the praise of Tigers once hateful caddy Steve who made all that money with Tiger until he got fired . Not one time in the final round did he bash Scott for taking stupid shots or choking nor anybody else like he did Tiger . Get over it you hateful HB Tiger at 35 is still better than most of the players on the tour and has the more PGA and Major wins than all of them . Curtis you couldn't carry Tiger's bags or wear his dirty socks . Don't hate Tiger because he's the best and richest golfer playing today . Don't hate him because Jesper Parnevick intrduced him to his Swedish baby-sitter who hit the lottery when he said I do . Other than being blonde and baby-sitting she had no talent but thanks to Tiger she is getting paid dearly . Don't hate Tiger because of his talent , fame , and game for doing something that over 50% of married men do or wish they could do when their hanging out drinking and freaks want to get freaky. Take your anger out on a certain group of tramps who throw themselves at him and men like him with money and fame even US presidents . Their motive isn't love it's lust , money , and 60 seconds of fame . I'll end this with the street vernacular to all you internet playa's . Don't hate the player hate the game because the game is sold not told .

Reggie ! Reggie ! Reggie !

No that fan chant was not created for Reggie Miller who was great in his sport but for the great Mr October , HOF , Reggie Martinez Jackson . Who owns five championship rings with Oakland and the Yankees . One of the greatest homerun hitter ever who did it naturally without the aid of performance enhancing drugs . Love him or hate him the man was a true showman and a champion . As a fan of baseball I loved Reggie Jackson for his game , and what he stood for during a time when blacks couldn't sleep in certain hotels , nor eat at certain restaurants playing the game they loved . I love and respect what he is doing today for the youth in giving back reaching out to help those that need it the most . I applaud him for speaking out against the PED users like A-Rod being honest about his own feelings and mine that their records are tarnished because of it . I'm sure there are more Hall of Fame baseball greats who feel the same way but are not speaking out for fear of being reprimanded by those very organizations they work for in some small capacity . How can you respect players who only used to enhance their homerun stats . Only a handful use PED to win championships Clemens and Petitis to name a few . Sosa , McGuire , and Canseco did it to change their stats because they never won anything other than Homerun Derby . Shame on the New York Yankee organization for suspending Mr October from the clubhouse and being around the players for speaking the truth about A-Rod not being HOF worthy becauseof his admission to using PED . SHAME ON THEM !!!

Kevin Durant 48 minutes 2 rebounds

Somebody explain to me how a 7 foot wing player is out rebounded by his 6 foot point guard in the most important game in the finals . How can a 7 footer who loves to shoot the long ball and is hail as the best player in the NBA only get 2 rebounds . Russell Westbrook is a fearless warrior who is constantly critcized for not getting the ball more to Durant . For taking far too many shots and committing too many turnovers . Why isn't the media darling Kevin Durant getting bashed for what he is not doing to lead his team to a much needed victory ? The media has made Kevin Durant the Thunder leader but he has not led his team in the last three games of the finals . The real leader on this OKC team is Russell Westbrook period . Anybody can knock down a shot when there is nobody guarding you like Durant . But give me a guy like Westbrook who will drive to the basket fearlessly making basket after basket to keep his team in the game . Then dropping midrange jumpers time after time in rhythm to lead his team with no help down the stretch getting no help from his big 2 . I'm sick of the pass that Durant is given to him by the media when he is nothing but a tall jump shooter . When you live by the jump shot you will die by it . Thanks to Kevin Durant's small frame he is afraid of the punishment he is getting when he drives to the basket so he settles for the long range jumpers . Thanks to Scott Brooks his terrible decision making in this game all but put the nail in the coffin for OKC . KD 2 rebounds won't get it done and that is why the Heat will end it Thursday so get your fishing gear ready . Durant should be ashame of yourself a 48 minute game and all you got was 2 rebounds and you got them in the last 2 minutes of the game . Russell Westbrook I have nothing but respect for you because you did what a true leader is suppose to do you led something your sidekick can't do .

NBA fans are upset about the finals officiating

Imagine that .

NBA officiating has gotten so bad that fans are upset about it and are letting it be known by texting and twittering to the media outlets constantly . It has gotten so bad that the NBA has hired Dave Javie a retired NBA ref for 26 years to come on ESPN and explain what is and isn't a foul . How you ref a guy like LeBron James who is a physical and strong player who is different from a Kevin Durant . So much is being made of the free throw discrepancies in favor of Miami . Well I'm glad I'm not the only one who has been watching the playoffs and constantly blogged about how t-u-r-r-i-b-l-e it's been this year . You know it's bad when you bring in a retired ref to tell a national TV audience what is and isn't considered a foul when Stevie Wonder could see who's fouling who . I call it fixing games but there are other out there who don't agree . It dosen't help that OKC shoots a ton of outside shots you live by the jump shot and you die by it so I can't sympathize with their complaints about not getting enough free throws . Westbrook can't be the only one taking it to the basket Durant has to drive inside to get the calls he just can't shoot jumpers . It didn't help his team by only getting 2 rebounds the whole game and he got those with a minute left in the game . I'm glad somebody else is finally speaking up about the 3 blind mice , the fixers , and the zebras . Keep complaining and maybe something will be done about it next year because this year is the coronation of LeBron James and his Miami Heat .
