Since February first Bracketology has been on the minds of every true college hoops fan. For some schools it's a no-brainer they now that thier either in(North Carolina) or out (New Jersey Institute of Technology). For other teams it's not that simple.

For some schools like Ohio St., Syracuse, UAB, Houston, St. Joes, Kentucky, West Virginia, UNLV, Miami FL, and Withrop, just to name a few teams, they will be sweating it out on Selection Sunday. These last three or four games of the regular season mean so much to a team heading into Selection Sunday on the bubble. Lets just say your a coach of a team on the bubble you would not want to play Kentucky's final three games, they play Tennessee, South Carolina, and Florida to finish out the season. Then you look at Miami FL final three games and they look very favorable for them UVA, BC, and Florida St. With all of this college basketball debate, this might be my favorite time of the sports year.

I want to know who you think will be the final four teams in the tournament.
Sat, 01 Mar 2008 02:31:01 GMT http://www.fannation.com/blogs/post/159416 lets go sox 2008 NJIT 0 WINS 29 LOSSES !!!!!!!!! http://www.fannation.com/blogs/post/157437 The New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) Highlanders completed the pursuit of unperfection by going 0-29. On the front page of the Mens Basketball website it asks which upcoming mens Volleyball match are you most excited to see for it's poll question. Well, that sums up how thier season went getting overshadowed by the Volleyball team. No disrespect against Volleyball but that can't be one of top 5 most popular sports in college. I've never heard of a student section getting to the Volleyball court an hour early just to see the players warm up, or the student section painting thier chest in support for the Volleyball team. I wonder what the attendance for thier basketball games were like 20 or 25 thats including the mascots and cheerleaders. All I could think listening to this on Sportscenter this morning was the new movie "Semipro". I could see them having thier star player wrestle a bear to get attendance up. For thier first game next year maybe they could have a tribute to thier Mens Volleyball team then attendace will go up. Sun, 24 Feb 2008 22:16:34 GMT http://www.fannation.com/blogs/post/157437 lets go sox 2008 Memphis vs. Tennessee http://www.fannation.com/blogs/post/157397
The first 5-10 minutes of Memphis vs Tennessee were probably the most exciting minutes in College Basketball in a while. The game last night had more excitement than the Duke vs. UNC thriller earlier this year. Memphis in the first few minutes were automatic from three. Somehow Tennessee managed to hang with them until they became cold and grabed the lead. Bruce Pearl who did not bring out the orange jacket looked like he had prepared his team brilliantly. Even when Chris Lofton went out with two fouls and no points in the first half Tennessees Tyler Smith picked up the slack he finished with sixteen points. Derrick Rose for Memphis finished with twenty three points to lead all scorers. Tennessee had sixteen points from the bench were as Memphis had only eight. Hopefully there will be more games like this one this season.
Sun, 24 Feb 2008 18:30:44 GMT http://www.fannation.com/blogs/post/157397 lets go sox 2008 COCO CRISP LEAVE BOSTON!!!!!!!!!! http://www.fannation.com/blogs/post/156935 It should have been easy enough from the beggining to see that the Coco Crisp trade was going to turn out badly. But most Red Sox fans like myself said just a one year thing, or a little injury he'll be fine next year. Well next year never came. Coco was not awful the past year, heck he was better than Julio Lugo who only had .237 batting average. But with all this said Jacoby Ellsbury is not just the star of the future he has the chance to be a star two years down the road. It is clear the Sox organization thinks so to look who they started in World Series, not Crisp but Ellsbury.Ellsbury in his rookie season was not intimidated at all of Fenway Park he had 3 homeruns, a triple, and 4 doubles. I think the sox should get rid of Crisp as soon as they can because Ellsbury is now. Sat, 23 Feb 2008 13:49:16 GMT http://www.fannation.com/blogs/post/156935 lets go sox 2008 THE BIG EAST NEEDS TO CUT 4 TEAMS!!!!! http://www.fannation.com/blogs/post/156797 The Big East made a decision a while ago that next year the Big East tourniment will have all 16 teams participate in it in 2009. Why don't they just take away 4 teams from the conference? Rutgers, South Florida, Providence and St. Johns. I know that Providence and St. Johns were in the original Big East from way back but I think it is time to move on. South Florida would go to the ACC, Rutgers and Providence could move to Conf. USA to have teams that could finally challenge Memphis each year, and St. Johns would move to the A-10 and make that conference even better than it already is. That is my plan I'd like to hear what you think about it. Sat, 23 Feb 2008 02:25:46 GMT http://www.fannation.com/blogs/post/156797 lets go sox 2008 THE NFL DRAFT SLEEPER PICK http://www.fannation.com/blogs/post/156314 This years NFL draft sleeper pick could be many guys but it has to go to Kenny Moore the WR out of Wake Forest. This is not just personal bias being a Wake fan he has the stats to prove it. Moore had 98Rec (an ACC record) 1011yds recieving 5TD's and also had a punt return for a TD. Kenny Moore will not blind people with his speed or his height but he is a consistant player with great hands who will give you 100% each game. A team like the Minnesota Vikings or Baltimore Ravens could use Kenny Moore and may be able to get him in the fifth or six round as a great pick. Fri, 22 Feb 2008 01:31:09 GMT http://www.fannation.com/blogs/post/156314 lets go sox 2008
