Braves midseason review
Well, I apologize for not having any recent blog posts up, I have been busy, and I look to get back on track with this edition. The purpose of this blog is to provide the most comprehensive Atlanta Brave midseason report on the web. Anyway, I will begin with the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.
The Good
Chipper Jones (When healthy)- Chipper has had another quality season this year. True, he has had to battle some injury bugs, but his latest vow was to play in all of Atlanta's games for the rest of the season, and, thus far, he has lived up to his word. To date, in Chipper's 65 games played, with 249 at-bats, Chipper has 15 homers, which ties for the team lead with the other Jones. He is hitting an astounding .329, slugging six points short of .600 and is getting on base, as shown by his .419 OBP. Chipper has only six errors and a .957 fielding percentage in 502.1 innings played.
