Michael Beasly OR Derrick Rose?

The Chicago Bulls struck gold by winning the NBA draft lottery, but what way will they turn? They could choose to give Captain Kirk Heinrich some competion and give Ben Gordan and Luol Deng a very dynamic point guard in Rose. Or finnally getting a good big guy who can score in the post.

They have drafted big guys the past couple of years but none of them have really panned out. i despised Jokim Noah and his pot smoking ways plus he's a big **** bag who cant ball and Tyrus Thomas is a freak athlete but not much of a polished basketball player especially on the offensive end. They brought in Big Ben Wallace and he never gave them the presence they needed. And Tyson Chandler was let go 2 or 3 years ago. Their only true big man who can play is Drew Gooden who is a ok player but not a great player that Chi Town needs. Thats why Beasly makes the most sense in my mind. Sure Rose is from Chi Town but Beasly will get you 20 and 10 and make every Bulls fan forget about where he came from.

And Yet It Gets Worse

Today i went to Clevland to watch my beloved Miami Dolphins play a game close to home.  What I got was a beatdown of epic preportions in the 1st half of the game.  My fins then desided they'd tease me by getting within 3 points only to implode and blow the game.  On top of all this my seats were "convienetly located" in the dogg pound.  All game i was pelted by peanuts, beer, and ocassionally spat at.  But this actually made the game fun as i was able to put all these Browns fans in their place by reminding them how they were the laughingstock of the NFL for the past decade.  As i sat there in my Ricky Williams jersey in a sea of brown and orange i thought can my team get any worse?  I came to the conclusion that we are the *NEW* Browns of the league.

Well, i guess theres always the draft?

Damn, what a year to be a Miami fan.  My Fins are playin absolutly pathetic and its only getting worse.  Our Defense which was supposed to be our strenght with reining NFL defensive MVP Jason Taylor, Zach Thomas, and free agent aqusition Joey Porter.  Instead teams have been running all over us and we have one of the weakest secondarys in the league.  We all knew our offense would struggle, but i was hopeing for our D to get us a couple of W's.

Upsets Galore

Wow...
What a AWSOME day to be a college football fan.  This is why college is better then the pro's, everyone gives their best every week and every game counts.  One slip up and you will be out of the national title race, and one big upset and your school will be remembered forever as the David to a power house's Goliath (Appalachian State).  This week we had 5 lil' trains that jus COULD do it, but they DID do it.  Colorado upset #3 Oaklahoma after a huge comeback, #4 Florida lost to Auburn even after pulling the Shanahan/Kippin trick on their field goal.  #5 West Virginia lost to #18 South Florida for the 2nd year in a row (South Florida is slowly becoming a formidable football school).  Another repeat upset from last year was the Kansas State beatdown of #7 Texas who's highly touted quaterback Colt McCoy looked less then spectacular.  And Finnally to round out the Top 10; #10 Rutgers lost to Maryland who shut down stud running back Ray Rice.  Not only did all these teams lost but other upsets included #21 Penn State, #13 Clemson, and #22 Alabama.  #1 USC, #9 Wisconsin, and #17 Virginia Tech all survived scares from lower teams.
