Lay Off of Favre!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wish everyone would just lay off of Favre. We all should have known he was gonna come back. Why do you think he didn't officially sign his retirement papers? Yes the saga gets old year after year, but you can't tell me you wouldn't want him to comeback if he played for your team, and was coming off a stellar year. At least the Packers have no plans on releasing him now. What a shame that would have been watching him march the Bears or the Vikings down the field and onto a Superbowl.

Let the Carousel Begin!!!!!!!!!!!!

It looks like there will be no empty seats on the Coaches Carousel this year. It looks like there will be 3 job openings for sure and possibly up to a dozen more. 2 openings should have happened several weeks ago. When will Dr. Tom Osborne pull the trigger and get rid of Bill Callahan? Callahan should have been fired a year ago. He has made an embarrasment of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He took a program, with a storied tradition of winning and playing smashmouth football, and ran it into the ground. Making them the laughing stock of the Big 12 right above Baylor. Husker fans I am surprised you have not run him out of town yet.

Please! Somebody Pinch Me....................

Would somebody please pinch me so I'll know I'm not dreaming? We had Oklahoma, Florida, Texas, Oregon and West Virginia getting beat 2 weeks ago. Then USC, UCLA, Wisconsin and Kentucky getting beat this last weekend. I think the Stanford win over USC tops the Appalachian State win over Michigan for the greatest upset in history. Come on now Stanford! What the hell! The Oklahoma loss to Colorado doesn't seem so bad now. Kudos to Notre Dame. You finally won one. That game is a headscratcher also. What really got my attention was the 41-6 thrashing that Mizzou put Nebraska. Parody is running wild this year for sure. I predict there will be know undefeated teams at seasons end and there will be 15 or 20 one loss teams fighting to play in the Championship game in New Orleans. How cool would that be. What would the NCAA do then, have a rock, paper, scissors contest?

There are gonna be some good games this weekend also. Oklahoma vs. Missouri, LSU vs. Kentucky, Texas Tech vs. Texas A&M, USC vs. Arizona, and Arizona State vs Washington. Does any one think Kentucky can beat LSU? I think they can the way Florida had them on edge. This is sure to be another interesting weekend in College Football we'll see how many more upsets we have.

Bomar Returns to the Sooner State!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This Saturday Rhett Bomar returns to Oklahoma to try to lead his Sam Houston State Bearkats to a victory over Oklahoma State. I wonder how many Sooner fans will be in Stillwater to see him play? They will probably send him back with his head used as a hood ornament on their bus. There hasn't been really that much about it this week. I think Mike Gundy's tirade has had everyone all abuzz. Bomar says he has moved on and accepts all responsibility for his actions at OU. Bomar also says theres alot of stuff that happened that no one knows about. Whether thats true or not we'll see. Bomar expects a not so warm welcome. GEE! I wonder why. Bomar didn't talk much about his short lived stint at OU but says maybe someday he will. Now that he is in Texas all he has to do is drive by the Huntsville prison whenever he thinks about getting a wild hair up his BUTT.

The Overhyped Underachievers..................

Oklahoma State is the same team they've always been in the past. Before football season some experts and fans had them winning the big 12 South and going to a major bowl game. That's not gonna happen this year AGGIE fans. The Cowboys are 1-2 so far this season, with a chance to go 3-9 for the whole season. THAT'S PUSHING IT TOO! If they can't beat Sam Houston State or Baylor then there is definitely something wrong. The Cowboys gave up 563 yards in their 41-23 loss to Troy. Mike Gundy needs to make some major adjustments on his team starting with the quarterback. Put the quarterback that gives you the best chance to win on the field and keep him out there. Tim Beckman needs to do something with the defense. The Cowboys have never been very good on defense. There are some Okie State fans already wanting Gundy fired. Who can blame them. He always says we're getting better but never shows it. With the prices of tickets going up outrageously to help pay for  renovating the stadium, the fans should get a better product of football. I would'nt want to pay more for a crappy brand of football. If coach Gundy keeps it up with mediocre play, he will be the next coach on the unemployment line.
