Big D's Banter

Interesting Find?

The majority of our top members probably know about the rift between the member known as Cassidy's House and many other members. Many people got into it, with very few exceptions.

There has been speculation for a long time that this member was not a woman, but actually a man named Roy. There has been plenty of evidence that Cassidy's House actually is a man. Whether it is the member's blog name of R.Edwards70, or fanmails to other members signed Roy. While this member has been acused of other things, we will not get into that. It is for another time.

Why Philadelphia fans make me sick

Let me start by saying that this does not go for all Philadelphia fans. There are many that I respect on this site, like Oso, Anthony E., and Phillyman. But the majority of Philthadelphia fans are ignorant drunks with nothing better to do than insult players, both on opposing teams and their own. Lets take a look:

They booed Donavon McNabb. DONOVAN MCNABB! Without him, this franchise would be nothing. Too bad you guys didn't get Akili Smith, am I right Eagles fans? You people need to learn that your teams can make the right choice every once in a while.

A Farewell to Myron Cope

Steelers legendary announcer, Myron Cope, died today, at the young age of 79. He is a member of the Radio Hall of Fame, and he even has his own spot in the NFL Hall of Fame.

He is best known for coining the phrase "Immaculate Reception" and creating the Terrible Towel. While these are both great contributions, many Steelers fans have their own fond memories of him.

Before he retired in 2005, I would sit with family watching the Steelers games on Sundays. We always put the television on mute, so we could listen to Cope on the radio. Everyone in Pittsburgh loved this great man, more than many of the great players that came to play in Pittsburgh.

The Milestone has been Reached!

As you probably all know, Big Ben68 recently made a blog talking about his achievement of 10,000 comments. Well folks, I recently achieved something pretty special of my own. Within the last couple of weeks, I reached one hundred throwdowns without a tie.

Thanks to my boy EF for pointing this out to me.

Some of the records that I now hold are: consecutive throwdowns without a tie, consecutive throwdowns without a tie to start a career, and most wins without a tie, just to name a few.

Woodson is back!

Thats right folks, Woodson has come back to Fannation. I just went to the throwdown page and saw a fresh throwdown from him. Looks like hes going for loss 200 soon.

But seriously, its great to have him back. Now we can all boost our records without any effort.
