CarmenHOU's Blog

Its been 4 months and Im back for a min. at least

So, the Superbowl threw me for a loop, the Rockets are wrecking my brain....Im not sure if Yao being hurt is a good or bad thing going into the playoffs aaannnddd....should we go ahead and trade him for 2 ok players??? ..., and I dont know what the hell the Astros and Texans are doing! I think I need to pack up from California and go home to clean up our Houston messes! Oh nevermind; the weather is better here! So, since its Basketball season....Ill stick to that topic. Ok Rockets ...this is what you do, trade Yao and that sorry ass Steve Francis...get a player or two and/or a nice draft pick....We need a good Center, (young and healthy to mold) and we need a good back-up for Rafer Alston. Stick a few good needles in Tracy McGrady's old (but still good) butt ....any steroid of your choice ....they are too into what baseball and wrestling is doing right now to notice...and we still have a good 3 years to get that next ring!

NBA Its been along time..I shouldnt have left you...

...without a dope beat to step to....

 All Hail Rick Adelman!!!

Sorry, Ive been away for so long.  Ive had to switch my NBA league pass on and divert from the NFL for a week or so. The Rockets have had me in a daze...however, being that they are in the conference they are in, all of their wins mean nothing except that they better keep on winning to stay along side of the other teams that are also doing just as well. So, they wont let Steve Francis play because  he didnt show up to camp in the condition that he should have. Frankly, I wouldnt have even cared if we got him back at all.  Steve Francis will only be good this year as a nice bench player in case Alston get injured or needs a break...and even given that, he might be a 3rd bench player. Im from Houston and I know what Steve means to the community but, on the court....I dont think I agree with the croud chanting out wanting to see him play. He is good for some points and maybe he will surprise me since he doesnt have his butt buddy Catino Mobley pulling at his shorts like last they played in the city together but, as for now, Im fine seeing him laying under the bench, getting paid, enjoying watching his teamates win.

REDEMPTION!!!!!

OK, SO  I GET TALKED ABOUT FOR BEING A TEXANS FAN.....BUT, HA....!!! I TOLD YALL GREEN BAY WAS GONNA WIN!!! I PICKED 10/13 AND I ONLY LOST 3 GAMES BEING NICE...LOL...SO, TO ALL OF YOU THAT WANTED TO RAIN ON MY PARADE TELLING ME THAT I WAS GONNA LOOSE ANOTHER GAME ON MONDAY NIGHT .....SUCK IT!! HAHAHA...JK...FAVRE ...WASHED UP? WATCH THE REPLAY BABY!

Damn Texans

I am a very hurt hometeam fan right now : ( I think Ill be silent this whole week. ugh.

Lay off the Texans Brainiacs

So, look ....I dont wanna hear your **** about the Texans. I am a fan. ...and with good reason this year. They are something to watch....that last game against Tennessee was a fluke but, a hell of a good run in the end. No one expects the less than 5 year old toddlers to go win a superbowl. But, each year, they seem to put a little more buzz in the air. Unlike previous years, they are 10 in total offensive ranking in the whole NFL with 24.1ppg. they rank #5 in passing which means that something ....unlike some of you.....at least something is on track. Defense sucks but, hey....a toddler isnt an adult but, has grown greatly from an infant. They have a total of 169total points going into week 8 which is higher than 5 of the teams that rank above them in total offense. The fact is that, unlike our previous FEW years, and unlike some of your current teams this year, at least the games are now enjoyable to watch.....you actually sit in front of the tv and say....hey they may have a shot. My advice to our coaching staff: tweek the offense just a tad, pat yourself on the back for getting rid of Carr, and totally scrap the defense and re-build. ...and next year....we will be even better. Hey, its better than watching these sorry 49ers and Raiders that still cant get it even after they hit puberty in the NFL. I live in the bay area but, I will not let it break my sports spirits. Amen.
