There is now a problem with Pro Bowl voting. The Pro Bowl has turned into a popularity contest.
But let's not take things the wrong way, these players are good, but not Pro Bowl good this year.
Examples:
Romo: Played less than a full season and struggle down the stretch. Sure, he had a productive first couple of weeks, but that's because of the lack of knowledge on him. No one had game tape, no one knew what he does. When he first got thrown in against the Giants, he threw 2 touchdowns, but three interceptions, in less than one full game. When he played against the Giants for the second time, he threw two interceptions with zero touchdowns. The Giants were riddled with injuries and had a horrible secondary before injuries, but they knew Romo and neutralized him. Against a mediocre Panthers team, he threw 1 touchdown and one interception. he had twogood consecutive games against Washington and Arizona, 2 touchdowns in each with no interceptions, but it was against Washington and Arizona. No touchdowns and an interception against the Colts. 5 touchdowns against Tampa Bay, it's Tampa Bay. In the next two games against the Giants and Saints, he threw 2 interceptions in each with a grand total of one touchdown. Against Atlanta and Detroit, he threw two touchdowns and one interception in each, solid, but the teams are not very good. Against the Eagles, a team the Cowboys should know, he threw one touchdown and 2 interceptions. Which comes to a grand total of 19 touchdowns and 13 interceptions, but what really matters is that he threw 6 touchdowns and 8 interceptions in December. He struggled down the stretch when it counted.
