The Big 12 is better than the Pac 10

I think that next season the Big 12 will be the second most powerful confrence in all of college football behind of the SEC of course, just look at their conference top to bottom

  • Texas will be great as usual
  • Oklahoma is getting back a ton of talent
  • Texas Tech has a legitimate shot at taking home a BCS bowl trophy at the end of the season
  • Texas A&M will go to a mid level bowl
  • Nebraska won't be great this year, but is the team of the future in the Big 12, but will win 6 or 7 games
  • Kansas State QB is a Jamarcus Russell clone, will win at least 7 games
  • Kansas is getting back  almost all of their talent form an Orange Bowl winning team
  • Missouri will be a top 10 team with Chase Daniels back and will go to a BCS bowl
  • Oki State consistently wins 6 or 7 games every year

I think all of these teams will make it to a bowl game, While in the PAC 10 they have 4 major powers

It's time to change the NBA's Silhouette

The NBA has stuck with that same old Jerry West silhouette for years, why? Michael Jordan is possibly he most popular professional athlete of all-time so why is the NBA so reluctant to change it. Jerry West was good, years and years after Jordan's first retirement he still is the only athlete in the world it seems that everyone likes. Jordan has way better stats, way more popularity, and has more championships. Sometimes I wonder if David Stern is retarded.

My Perilloux Rant

Well the inevitable finally happened. Ryan Periloux finally screwed the last time through a drug test. Well at least it didn't happen in the middle of the season. Well in a way I think we are better for it. Would you really want to put your body on the line Saturday after Saturday for a guy you don't know if he even cares if you win or lose. He obviously doesn't because if he did he wouldn't of been so stupid. To tell you the truth I thought the guy was trouble first thing he signed with LSU and said and I quote " I'm gonna beat out Russel for the starting job and win 4 heismans and 4 national championships." I just don't know if I could of went through this season as a fan with a QB who might not be there next week. Another thing that pisses me off about it is that I stood up for the guy because he was a part of my team on this site, with my friends, and on a freaken national radio show now it isn't just him that looks stupid it is also us who supported him. Now there's two things that can come of this

5 reasons why ND will not join a Conference

Well it's no secret that latly Notre Dame has been struggling and what kind of SEC fan would that make me if I didn't go and add insult to injury so heres my list of five reasons why Notre Dame won't join a major conference. Some of them are funny, but all of them are true.

5. It would take away that pretty NBC contract they got and if your gonna be bad, you might as well make money while doing it.

4. They might be forced to be challenged by a schedule (unless they join the Big 11, we all know the Big 11 scheduling people take good care of their power houses).

The other rookie sensation

Last season it is no secret that Adrian Peterson took the league by storm. And now everyone is looking for the next AP. People have no Idea about the other great thing that came out of the 2007 daft. Patrick Willis, the mans an absolute beast. He played college ball at Ole Miss, so he wasn't really watched much by NFL scouts, but everyone in the SEC  knew he was gonna be a NFL stud. I got to witness his power first hand 3 years in a row as I watched him by himself hold LSU's offenses by himself. Two out of the three years he played LSU he by himself almost lead Ole Miss to a win. You can get a summary of his whole career of one hit in the 2005 LSU when he almost knocks one of the biggest RB in LSU history out in a head on tackle. This season in his first year he almost had more tackles by himself the rest of the defense in fact he by far lead the NFL in tackles. In his rookie year he recorded 135 tackles and 4 sacks. Why doesn't he get the attention Adrian Peterson does when he recorded stats that are equal to or maybe even better than AP's stats.
