RedSoxrule39's Blog

Spectacular SP depth for the Red Sox this year.

Orginally i made a throwdown on this but so far 2 peoplehave acceppted then declined so i decided to blog it.

Here is how the orignialy starting five was going to be when last year ended.

Ace- Josh Beckett
#2- Dice-K
#3- Schilling
#4- Tim Wakefield
#5- Lester/Clay

Now what the Red Sox didnt imagine was Clay,Beckett, and Dice K all going on the DL at different points in the season and Schilling missing the whole year. Did this stop the Red Sox from have a very good pitching roation. No it did not because they had other guys who stepped up and did well.

NBA Finals

So far the NBA Finals of Lakers vrs. Celtics is going exactly as I thought it would. So far the Lakers interior men have been dominated by the Celtics strength advantage. Also, Pierce lighted it up just like I thought he would due to Vladimer covering him. Kobe was bothered a little by the hard Celtics D but has adjusted. Lastly, Ray Allen has been able to hit the three when open fully done with that slump of his. Now for the games.

MLB Standings

So I started an over under throwdown for MLB and wanted to see how many wins  or losses the teams had. To do this I went to the standings on MLB.com. There I found an interesting unexpected placement in the leauges.

What i found was how that in all but one of the divisions the two heavy weights were polar oppisites.

Al East- The top two teams were supposed to be the Yankees and the Red Sox. Well my Red Sox are doing their part being tied with the Rays for first place. However, the Yanks are strugiling like they usually do early and are in last place.

What are the Patriots thinking this draft?

I want to know what the **** the Patriots have been thinking when they have been picking. So far they have slected LB Jerod Mayo, CB Terrence Wheathly, OLB Shawn Crable, and a QB(what the hell) in Kevin O'Connell. Mayo and Whealty make sense but were not the best possible picks at those positions and the do not need a QB.

The Pats had the seventh pick and since Ghoulston was no longer on the board traded down to ten. Now at the tenth pick every CB who entered the draft was still available. However, they select LB Jerod Mayo who wasn't project until 15 for most experts. I understand we need to get younger at LB but Rodgers-Cromartie and McKelvin both future #1 CB were available. They should have picked one of them and made our secondary that much better.

What happened to Dan Connor?

A guy that I though about a month ago would be a awesome fit for the Pats was Dan Connor a MLB form Penn St. The guy did awesome in his senior bowl practices and experts had him going in the top 15. However, the draft started yesterday and he wasn't picked in the first two rounds so what happened to him. Did he have a bad combine or did a injury hit him because look at this mock draft.
