Dallas would be better off in a 4-3 Defense

First of all I know this is not happening as long as Wade Phillips is here, but this is simply my opinion.  While Demarcus Ware had 14 sacks this year, I feel he would have had alot more if Dallas ran a 4-3 system.  While Ware may be rushing the passer most of the time in the 3-4 D, at times he is required to cover the running back or tightend.  Any time DeMarcus Ware drops into coverage, his explosive speed and strength as a pass rusher is gone, therefore giving an advantage to the offense.  I will explain more later in the blog but this is where I would play everyone in the 4-3.

Chad Johnson and Pacman Jones, Cowboys Draft Needs

If i were Dallas I would make an attempt to land both of these players.  For Chad Johnson I would offer Cinci our 2009 first round pick and Akin Adoyele.  This would reunite Akin Adoyele with Mike Zimmer and would give the Bengals a blue collar linebacker with 3-4 experience.  That would give the Bengals Adoyele and Thurman in the middle of their D which would be a good start to rebuliding their defense as long as Thurman can stay out of trouble.  With their 4th round pick the Bengals could address other needs as well as ridding themselves of Chad Johnson.  With Johnson no longer in Cinci, they would have the cap room to resign TJ Houzmanzadeh, who is looking for a new deal. They also have Chris Henry, who is a good no. 2 WR, so Carson Palmer would still have to solid weapons to throw to.
