An idea came up in one of the groups I'm in to have a Fannation Thesaurus for all the LINGO that is used on this site. Be it for newbies or even people that have been around for awhile and haven't heard of a certain expression etc.
So lets put together a list of words or phrases that everyone tends to use on FN and we will publish it as part of the Fannation User guide.

Doesn't Fannation have kind of a double standard when it comes to Throwdowns about Cheerleaders? They post great weekly pictures of NFL cheerleaders under the "SI Photos" section...but when someone has a TD about Cheerleaders or which team has the best/hottest/most attractive cheerleaders they delete the throwdown.
I wonder if this blog will be deleted since I pose the question...

So the talk has begun again about the 1972 Dolphins Undefeated Season and can the Pats or the Colts run the table?
The Patriots...
Being a Pats fan my heart says yes but my head says no...
Obviously the Pats proved that they were the team to beat in week 6 against the Cowboys. They should have no problem vs the 2007 Dolphins. I can see the Redskins giving them a tough game but I think they will pull it out.
But then come the Colts in Indy in week 9 ... Which should be the Next Game of the Year.
One full month of NFL football completed; three more to go. Here are the Surprises in my eyes...
AFC EAST
The surprise here is not how dominant the Patriot's have been it's the fact how bad the rest of the division has been. The Jets to me has been the biggest disappointment in the East at 1-3. This team had no running back or running game last year and yet finished 10-6 and made the playoffs. This year they have a #1 RB in Jones and can't run the ball and control the clock.
NFC EAST
After missing out on the Playoffs the last 2 years, and last year by a single point the Leafs begin the year with a clean slate and high expectations.

In the Net...
Last years team just didn't have the depth in Goal to get over the hump. Sure Andrew "Red Light" Raycroft won tied a Leaf record for wins with 37 but it took him 72 games to do it. With Vesa Toskala now one of the Leafs "Tenants of the Twine Tent" in the fold, Toronto should have one of the best 1-2 punches in Goal.
