1998 was a huge draft for the Colts. They had the first pick, and Ryan Leaf and Peyton Manning were the two stars of this draft. Ryan Leaf was the larger-than-life personality from Washington State. Quarterback. It's been a position of no need for the Colts since 1998. There haven't been QB races in training camp or injuries to worry about.
