Things That Crossed My Mind.....

Well, as an Indiana fan, there is nothing going on right now, so to pass the time, I decided to go to ESPN.com. But that isn't the weird part. I got in a situation were I was extremely bored and had nothing to do. So, me being the way I am, I went to the NBA "Trade Machine" and started creating trades that I would think would improve both teams, and these aren't the "Ron Artest to the Lakers" type of trades. They aren't based on rumors, so they may be a little weird.

Oklahoma City Team Name Ideas?

I've heard everything from the Oklahoma City Thunder, Oklahoma City Cyclones, to the Oklahoma City Stampede? I would just like to hear FanNation's opinion on what you think the nickname for the team should be called?

I guess the signs weren't enough. Say goodbye to your Supersonics, Seattle!

BREAKING NEWS: Baron Davis Reaches Agreement w/ Clippers

Baron Davis extremely shocked the Warriors when he opted out of his contract to become a free agent. Now they must be REALLY surprised. Davis decided to sign a deal with Los Angeles, his hometown. The Clippers will give Baron Davis what he wants, a contract which he will receive a five-year deal worth an estimated $65 million.

Baron Davis will most likely play alongside Elton Brand, who also decided to opt out. Brand can also join the team if the organization decides to dump Corey Maggette, which is highly likely. Corey Maggette also decided to opt out of his contract.

Top Unrestricted Free Agents Going Into Midnight

After seasons where your team goes 15-67 or along those lines, your only reason to look forward is the free agent market. There are many talented free agents that your team could look in to, but only if you have cap room, which according to ESPN, those team would be the Memphis Grizzlies, the Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Clippers, who would love to go after players such as Corey Maggette, Gilbert Arenas, and Antawn Jamison. Here are my rankings and predictions on the free agents to come tomorrow morning.

What To Expect This Offseason: Eastern Conference (V. 2.0)

Detroit Pistons:

This was acctually the second best team in the East last season, but overall performance in the playoffs along with team chemistry just ruined their chances against Boston. Now all fingers are pointing toward some player movements, ecspecially with the key veterans on this team. Although they do want to improve, they must also look to get younger and more athletic. The Pistons are also looking to get Rodney Stuckey and Jason Maxiell as starters on the team. Look for either Rasheed Wallace, Richard Hamilton, or Chauncey Billups to be traded this offseason. The Pistons are hoping to rebuild into a better team to contend next season for a championship.
