Spurs/Hornets

The game last night between the Spurs and Hornets was a great mental battle.  The Spurs got in the head of the Hornets and they started to unravel.  Coach Pop showed why he has been successful over the years.  Experience versus youth is not settled physically as the young legs will always prevail in that respect.  However, the mental battle is a different story and that is what the Spurs won last night.  Go Spurs.

Where Do We Go From Here?

As I watch the NBA drama unfold for this playoff season, there are more storylines and punch lines than good solid basketball.  The refs are making huge mistakes on calls and the flopping and acting has become paramount.  The assasins and thugs are guarding the paint and it is a wonder that someone has not gotten injured.  But that is the grand game of basketball and I still love it!!!
