THE WORD ACCORDING TO BLYSON46...

THE YEAR 25 A.B. ( AFTER BEAR )

Bear Bryant coached his last game for the University of Alabama in December of 1982; and since his retirement UA football has found life difficult. Year 25 A.B. also happens to be year 2 of The Second Coming at Alabama; many UA fans can't pick between Nick Saban or Jesus Christ as their savior. after all, one is college football...the other is just your immortal soul which lacks the prestige of a national championship. I live in this state where the media treats Saban much like a savior, hanging on the gospel of his words like the Aposteles of Paul, Bryant that is. Bryant prooved his worth, Saint Saban has not. 7-6 is not turning a program around, it is more like just asking it to move around a bit.

I am so tired of the media treating him so gloriously, you think he has won two national championships instead of one. And the Saban mystique has gone national. Forbes named him the Nations Most Powerful Coach. How do you feel Pete, Joe and Bobby? Even Les who took over for the Man has one National Championship and makes a buck more. But he has the program heading in the right direction the medis says; they don't point out that there was only one direction to go after Shula. I come off as a Bama hater but I actually like Bama, after all they have given our state much pride in their accomplishments. Respect well earned. That is Bama, and they may earn it again and probably will; for Saban does offer hope. But for the love of the Bear...Tone it down until he actually proves himself for Alabama.

Meyer is Such a WHINER

Its been awhile but he still cant let it go. Get some peace Urban lest you get an ulcer. This is something you need to discuss with your therapist; why that one show of emotion tattled your world so bad. Didnt  you enjoy the field position or the points that followed. You are beginning to sound like an old maid that had her feelings hurt. Heres my thought...maybe if your mother hadn't named you Urban you might have better coping skills. New name.....Urban Whiner

Hold your horsies

To Keep things in perspective...It is ONLY the ACC and they are Clemson; who seem to get more creative with their choking abilities each year that passes.

Brown: Favre should stay retired
Former Oakland Raiders great Tim Brown says Brett Favre should stay retired and that there's "absolutely, positively" no way the star quarterback will return to the Green Bay Packers. "There's no way he's going to be back in that locker room now," Brown said this week. "Absolutely, positively no way. They're just trying to say the right thing, hoping that he comes to his senses." Brown, who retired in 2005 after 16 seasons with the Raiders and one with Tampa Bay and has been an NFL commentator on FSN, said all Favre can do at this point by coming back is damage his legacy.

Big brother Auburn

I mean Savior Saban has to win this game so as not to be standing in an unfavorable light. His most heated rival Auburn beat this same Clemson team while installing a new offense in just  2 weeks. He has the whole summer to scheme.
