Wizards, Nets, Pistons - Now SPURS?

Cavs get lucky, they face the Wizards in the 1st Round - this being a wizards team without red hot shooting from Arenas or Butler.  Sure, they sweep the Wizards minus their top two players leaving Antwan to fight them by himself.  You could argue, if not for the unfortunate bad luck of Arenas and Butler not playing, the Wizards would have BEAT the Cavs.  CAVS sweep series.

Cavs utilize youth movement and beat aging Nets.  Didn't really see that coming, figured J.Kidd, Vince and a injury hampered RJ would be good enough to send the Cavs home.  Instead CAVS take it in 6.

Ramonce Taylor: Why Is This Talent Still Available?

Ramonce Taylor, former UT Standout back when it was Vince Young's team.  We know he has/had character issues off the field, that was nearly 2 seasons ago.  Someone has to gamble on this talent.  Dallas Cowboys, he's in your own backyard, just put the guy on the practice squad, see if he doesn't blow by everyone.  He's better than Skylar Green!!!!  WR/RB/KR/PR... blazing speed, long stride, great ability.  I would have tossed a 7th round pick at him in a heart beat, or even signed him immediately following the draft.

#1: Kevin Durant or Greg Oden?

People, for the most part, seem to unanimously assign the #1 pick of the NBA Draft to Greg Oden.

But why?  Sure, its not very often a Center comes along with the ability he might have.  But has he proven to be as good as we WANT him to be?  It seems we make up excuses for his lack of productivity, or seem not to notice when he only scores 6 points in a college game.  We avoid the obvious when he is in foul trouble 5 minutes after the game starts.  Really, is ODEN as good as we pretend he is?  His position is becoming extinct as more and more teams are going to "small ball."  Would you say that Oden is as good as Dwight Howard?  Maybe he turns out to be a Kwame Brown/Brendan Haywood type of player...  I mean, Oden wasn't even the best player on his team!?

Cowboys Pass up on Franchise QB

Everyone- so it seems, is upset that the Cowboys passed on Brady Quinn.  What it amounts to is that they sold the rights to Quinn for a non-guaraunteed chance to draft McFadden next year.  Its a gamble, and people want now - not next year.  I guess its safe to say with the way Romo ended last season, cowboys fans have lost some confidence in the young player that was molded for years to eventually take over.  Really, with Bledsoe gone - who else is left to play QB?  Drew Henson was released last season, so the other qb project is done.  They draft Isaiah Stanback - a QB, to become a WR.  But now what do you have as insurance for Romo?
