Little League World Series Fans

Yeah, stay in Disney!
Cheezhead 08/19/08
That's because it's a seasonal group, dummy.
THIS GROUP IS DEAD!!
YanksFan 06/28/08
Well all I know is I want him on the Mets. :D
Cheezhead 10/27/07
That was like 3 years ago. He was 19 as a senior.
I thought he was in high school last year. (?)
Cheezhead 10/13/07
He's like 22 or 23 now.
And the first overall pick is: Danny Almonte; wait, he's 12? Haha, I like him even though he cheated. He can do really good.
Cheezhead 10/06/07
Yeah, too bad. "Welcome to the 2008 Little League Draft. We're here live from New York City..." Haha.
Well, it's not like I want it to go into hibernation, but it's not like there's offseason and draft day to talk about.
Cheezhead 09/17/07
I'm leaving for now, but I'll be back next fall...
RHATER is Gone. 09/17/07
Not if you don't want it to.
And now the group settles into hibernation...

A big CONGRATS to the WR boys for winning the world championship! The whole town is so proud of this team......we can't wait for you to get back to town so we can celebrate with you!
ATLfan15 08/26/07
Completely agree, JFKJR.
Watching Georgia win and seeing the tears in the eyes of the Japanese team, if you don't get choked up yourself, there is something wrong with you!!

Best reality television that there is!!!!!

WALK-OFF HOME RUN FOR GEORGIA! Dalton Carriker is the man.
hi
i am so pumped japan v.s. georgia
Georgia is going to the championship for the second consecutive year to face Japan. They defeated Texas 5-2 in the US Championship.
The Japanese player just hit a walk-off grand slam in the bottom of the sixth inning to win the game 7-4 over Curacao. It was his second home run of the game. Japan will advance to the Little League Baseball World Series Championship to face the winner of Texas vs. Georgia.
Oh man, I've been rooting for Curacao the entire tournament. Here is a comment I posted on another group's Locker Talk...
walk off grand slam for Japan!!!

I thought the West was going to put up a better fight than what they did against West. I left in the middle of the game and was listening to it on the radio on the way home and about 15 minutes after I left I heard Georgia ten run ruled them.
G.O.A.T., those games must have been something else to watch live! In my opinion, this has been the best LLWS in years......can't wait for Saturday afternoon! Go Southeast (WR)!
ATLfan15 08/24/07
It's 2 hours from my house by car. The games were great yesterday. 2 walk-offs. A blowout. It was great. Pullin' for the kids from Curacao to upset Japan now. Hopefully Japan doesn't have much pitching left after the 10-inning thriller against Chinese Taipei
incredible games last night. 2 walk offs.
hey GOAT, how close is Scranton to Williamsport?
ballplayr9 08/24/07
A team in Georgia won it last year; the team this year from WR could surprise everyone.
drj0514 08/23/07
I'm going to the LLWS today.
A big CONGRATS! to the Southeast team from Warner Robins American Little League. They just beat the team from Walpole, Mass to advance to the semifinals of the Little League World Series......keep it going guys! :-)
ATLfan15 08/22/07
What about the Northwest game? That was a great game as well.
What a great ending to the game last night between the Midwest (Great Lakes MN) and the Mid-Atlantic (Salisbury MD) teams!
ATLfan15 08/20/07
Sweet. LLWS is up and running.

I remember Danny Almonte. He's like 20 years old now and is already married to some 30 year old hairdresser.
I remembered that kid. But he was Saudi American or Arabian American or whatever they call it. That same Little League makes it every year because all of their parents are from America and go to Saudi to work.
Baseball at its purest form? There are scandals all the time in the LLWS with birth certificate falsifications. Anyone remember that all-16 year old Mexican team from a long time ago, or Danny Almonte? It's still great, though.
Cardsox 08/08/07
He looked like he was on steroids!
RHATER is Gone. 08/08/07
Remember the Saudi Arabian kid who was, like ,6'8'' last year?

That kid was HUGE.
If the Curacao team makes it back for like the 5th straight year then they're my pick to win it. I've picked them every year for the last 4 years. The won it once and were the runner-ups another time. Trust me, the Curcao Caribbean team is ALWAYS very good.
no i watch it on ESPN
I go to it every single year. Do you?
hell yeah!! Every year i look forward to this. Baseball at its most pure form right here.
