I agree nfarber that the need for a "lockdown" corner is minimal in the Cover 2 scheme. I do however think we should have drafted one in the third or fourth round to compete with Youboty, Thomas Greer and Bassey. We have way to many RB's and with due respect to Wright CB was needed more than RB at that point in the draft. GO BILLS!
Geener I think they passed on taking a CB because the defensive system they run (the cover-2) puts an emphasis on linebackers and safeties. You don't need top of the line cover corners to the same extent in this system so there wasn't a reason to grab someone like Revis in the 1st round. That's also likely why the Bills passed on handing Nate Clements big money.
Finally a draft where the Bills looked good. Big upgrade at RB and LB. When is training camp? And will Randy Moss blow up and drag a few Pats with him? We can hope.
