I don't know about 13-3, but they can win the NFC East. Romo definitley needs a solid running game behind him, because the NFL defenses will be throwing some new looks at him just like they did the 2nd half of last year. Matriculate that ball down the field and throw T.O. a bone in the end zone to keep his mouth shut. Whitten is a definite pro bowler & I agree about Wade being a 3-4 guru.

Let's be reasonable now. Our Offense is going to be ran by Jason Garrett who is an IV Leaguer. Our Defense is going to be run by THE 3-4 GURU, and the talent is all there to be a better and stronger defense than SD was. Also, think of this, the NFC is a weaker division than the AFC, that's a fact. Now we got a coach that had a great defense in the AFC. A defense that shutout alot of the NFC opponents, and now he is our Head Coach. It's Wade's year to shine. SB here we come.
13-3 would make me a happy camper for sure, but it's not gonna happen. Mark my words... They WILL NOT break the 10 win plateau with Phillips as the head coach. This will be his best year, and it will be downhill after till he is removed from the spot. It pains me to say this, but I believe it to be true and hope I'm wrong.
As I stated before, only when they remove Phillips will this roster or one that resembles it flourish. I look for him to be removed after one, maybe two seasons. Campo style. Jerry would love to see his team in the Super Bowl at home in a new stadium - 2011!!! Not to mention a lot of other people, including me!
All I gotta say is that the cowboys are going 13-3 this year. Period. The defense will be ridiculous and this offense is going to be unstoppable. Wade Phillips is the best at what he does, and that's the 3-4 defense. With the addition of an IV Leaguer in Jason Garret and a new offense set up, Romo will thrive and our two back system will be a scary duo.
I have been a Cowboy's fan since i can remember, and I like the team they are going to field, but I'm not happy with that draft or the choice to land Wade Phillips as head coach.
They should have gone younger than Phillips. The draft was hideous. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see them making the play-offs. I hope I'm right, anyone for a former Steelers coach next season. With that defense, he could return to the Super Bowl.

i never said he was the answer. we've only seen 1 good season out of mcfadden! barber is definitley a break away back u must have been watching the osu cowboys! i dont know how much u keep up w/football but if i remember correctly there was alot of talk about trading jones so someone besides me has some faith in barber!
Barber is not the answer, continue to use him in the 2-back system. He won't be a break away runner that we need.
McFadden will be the better back all around.

I don't think Parcells used JJ properly and didn't have a great O-Line like we had in the 90's. I don't see him being the future either, but it is his job to lose. He has to prove himself.
D-Mac would be great to have. I would definitely like to see him come to us.
