True Texas. Forgot about Carlisle. It's the UFA that gets me sometimes. At least we didn't give them anything! But I read somewhere he had 3 surgeries on his knee so the contract bothers me. He better produce.
last year he let Cooper Carlisle go and he improved our OLine. Shannahan knew Walker's knees were bad when he let him go, so that kind of worries me. I really hope Drew Carter becomes a big steal for us now.
Does anyone else find it odd that a trade would be made inter-division? I hope Walker pans out, but I would think Shanahan would sooner die before giving us someone that might improve our team.
The poll came up before we signed Kwame Harris and Javon Walker. I just hope Walker's knees hold up. I know that was the biggest reason Denver let him go. I'm happy to get a receiver that gives us a good chance to improve out passing game, but not too happy to get one that is high injury risk for as much as Al paid him...

Another tough poll. We need both Chris and Jake. Not enough $$ for McFadden.
With the way we we're able 2 stay in games deep into the 4th,and not getting blown out week in week out.and winning 2 games in the division the positives are there 4 us 2 build on, the 'O'line needs re-tooling big time,if we can keep our key free agents, & sign some, the playoffs might not be 2 far off.
That's a tough poll Texas. I'm torn on that one. Sapp provides great leadership (except when drawing 3 consecutive unsportsmanlike penalties...) but he isn't what he used to be. Maybe he should take a pay cut and remain - but not as a starter.
