Okay please read post below for clarification as to how to nominate future BOTW. I usually make my choice on what happened over the ENTIRE weekend by just looking at a Monday sportspage. That being said I am putting up an All-Star logo this week in honor of the epic 15-inning game on Tuesday.
This group has been going for over 8 months, and if you remember back to the NFL, the results run THRU Sunday so when you are voting for the week prior all NFL games save the Monday night game were eligible for the PRIOR week. Remember now?
Yeah-- count me among the confused. I thought that BOTW ran from Sunday to Saturday, with Sunday starting the new week,(which would make Rafa eligible, since his win came on Sunday.)
Cass--please explain what the time frame os for BOTW nominations. If you post, for example, on the 13th, are the nominees from achievements from the 6th to the 12th? Is the 13th included?
KP, please tell us when you get back up and running as we need you to spotlight a member for July. Have fun.

A BOTW request. We get very similar nominations/winners every week, despite the fact that amazing efforts are being made by lesser known athletes worldwide. Instead of simply choosing the guy that won that race or golf tournament, I suggest we think--and look differently. There are those of us who don't follow auto racing, but are ultimately outnumbered by those of us who do. Frankly, Tiger wins most everything. The Cornell Big Red never have. Lindsay Vonn is about to set a new mark for American skiers. Aren't these all the more remarkable because of their less-than-hailed performances? Just my $.02.

Until the playoffs start I could care less about the NBA. Look at last year. The Mavs kicked arse and won 57 games then lost in the first round of the playoffs! The real season starts when the playoffs begin.

I am pleased with the selection of Eli as BOW. He had been ridiculed by everyone, including his former teammate. Some would have folded under such pressure. Eli has proven to New York, that he is their guy.
