I am tired of "rebuilding" years. Every year that seems to be the theme, well we aren't winning so let's rebuild! Is anyone else tired of this, let's start a season with a BUILT year and dominate for a change.
Will Kansas City make it out of the Black Hole with a win? Come to my profile to vote!

Even if part of the motive to get rid if Green and try for Brodie wa cap is wasn't the only reason, Trent was old and had taken that massive shot, but they had to much invested to just bench him, so they trade him for a draft pick, Brodie is and excellant prospect and with the new Wr's Herm brought in we should finnally have atleast a Receiving core that can convert on third, though with LJ preparing to hold out it will put alot of pressure on Kolby Smith and the new W's and Brodie.
if u think LJ is better than Gore come vote
please someone come and vote for me. Im down five votes and i need some help
hey can u guys vote for me in my LJ/Gore throwdown? Thanks

Get ready for the Brodie Croyle experiment and the fun of rebuilding. Bye Trent! I am going to miss you!!
Can the Chiefs brain trust (such as it is) and fans cut the crap about "getting younger" at QB? What they really mean is getting "less expensive."
As Jason Whitlock correctly pointed out in the KC Star, the Chiefs essentially threw away whatever trade leverage they had by making no secret that Trent Green was no longer wanted. They can't get that leverage back now by pretending that they've changed their minds and really want him back.
Now we just need to find a sucker to take Green off our hands so we can get tounger in the QB position. Huard isn't the answer either.
Dante was a magnet for the defense. As a returner he was gonna get crushed because they know what he is capable of. On the offense as a WR, he wasn't used enough to make him available. If he was a permanent member of the offense he wouldn't get keyed on, but put him in every now and then and OF COURSE he is gettin double teamed. I like the trade, but we could have gotten more.
Why does the Chief's do anything that shocks or dumfounds you? Carl Peterson!
As long as he is in charge of personel we will never have a chance to have a Super Bowl level team. He can't even put a teamon the field thta can win a playoff game. Best move by Lamar Hunts son would be to get rid of one of the most arragant men in sports.
He was a great returner..at one time. Im really not that all shocked with the trade. The Chiefs want to get young. Trading him for a draft pick makes perfect sense to me. I think we are lucky to get a fourth-round pick. I think his skills as a returner have been declining every year for about the last 3 years. But I don't blame it all on him. The Chiefs didn't have the same blocking on special teams that they had when they still had Gary Stills and when he was a great returner he wasn't playing much on offense. The last 3 years we have had to use him on offense
I was really shocked at this trade as well. Even though Dante had not had many good returns, he was still a very good receiver.
I'm dumbfounded how the Chiefs could trade away one of the best return players in the history of the league in Dante Hall for a fourth-round draft pick.
