our bball team is driving me crazy! first miami(ohio), then tenn st, and now penn st. can they ever score above 70 pts?

I'm a USC alumnus; just got back home from the Rose Bowl. I was very impressed with the spirit and sportsmanship of the Fighting Illini fans at the Rose Bowl. The Illinois football team has nothing to be ashamed of - because they were overmatched talentwise. Southern Cal has alot to be ashamed of because they lost to Stanford at home, and the Trojans should have been able to reach the BCS title game with their easy schedule. Georgia and Florida was afraid to play USC in the Rose Bowl but the Fighting Illini were game.

why is it that the hallmark of webers teams is the inability to shoot freethrows and the lack or offensive creativity. now that selfs team has moved on the illini look lost and unable to carry on a proud tradition

Jamar made a mistake. It's a bad mistake, but one that sadly most people make at some point in their lives. Jamar just happened to be unfortunate enough to be caught doing it.

The real determining factor should be whether his teammates want him back. If they still want him to play, let him play. Otherwise, let him go and soon b/c we need to fill his schollie. I think, though, that based on Weber's inaction with Jamar's status as an Illini thus far, that he'll be back. I, as a fan, welcome that. :)

Jamar should be able to play he made one mistake. He is a great player and is needed on this team.

I do believe in second chances, but Jamar messed up and completely ruined his reputation and hurt the school's as well. I think he should no longer be allowed to play.
