So did anyone else watch in disbelief last night as the offense did nothing to help the defense? Yeah I said Defense. 229 total yards for Cincy. A team that rolled up 615 yards 1 week ago..only gains 229 yards and still wins 34-3. 6 giveaways in this game and only 1 take away from our defense. Ok I am not counting the INT that was later fumbled and recovered by our offense. But after 2 games we have given up 9 turnovers and our defense has only been able to get 1 fumble recovery. The defense is doing great, but the Beavers have got to pick it up and DOMINATE Idaho State or we are screwed going into the Pac 10 opener at ASU.

By the way, we're going to have to find some other word to fill in for OSU's nickname for obvious reasons. (Thank goodness the women's teams are no longer called Lasdy -- you know.) beavs or bevos might do for a while, until the site managers can realize that we aren't talking about naughty bits but about damn-building mammals 265-pound linebackers with strong post moves and 92-mph fastballs...

Notice the purge of the men's basketball program for next year? There's some question whether the**** will even have a full roster f scholarship athletes there, much less quality basketball players. Looks like another bad year at Gill.
