My point is that Favre left at a great time. I think that this year was fine, bu had he played longer he would have actually hurt the team more than he was helping.

relax DJ, I would like to see the Favre is a D bag taken down. But outside of that some people are happy to see him go.

I think that this team carried Favre this year, not the other way around. If he sticks around any longer it would have been obvious.

So in that case I'm happy he didn't go out like Unitis, Montana, Rice, or E. Smith. Washed up on a new team.

BSchwartz, that just shows your homer side. Elway got A LOT of press, especially since he had just come off on the Super Bowl win. I don't mind the Favre coverage, you didn't mind the Elway coverage. I hated the Elway coverage. It was so painful for me cause of XXXII. So really, if you didn't mind the Elway coverage, you can't say you hate the Favre coverage.

Also, we all knew Elway was retiring before the end of that season. We didn't know Favre was retiring and we all expected him to come back after last season, so this is a shocker.

Sorry for the mini-rant. Continue with your business.

Exactly, if this was a group that was about HATING the guy, I wouldn't join.

I'm just sick of Favre on every website, even the Broncos pages have 10 stories about Favre.

If this is truy made up of Bears fans, then you are an embarassment to all Bears fans. The only people that could say they hate Favre or have nor respect for him are ignorant fans that don't know enough about the game. By the way - i have been a die-hard Bears fan for my entire life but will admit that watching Favre on Sundays will be missed by all true football fans.

He was a great QB, but NOT TOP 3 in NFL history, sorry. Montana, Elway, and Unitis were MUCH BETTER

don't get me wrong, the Guy did a hell of a job for Green Bay but a repeated 12 hour session on Nfl Network last night added to aleast 4 hours of coverage on Espn last night may of been over kill. Our Heart goes out to Madden who must be crushed by the Loss.
