Brutal loss at home last night to IPFW. The Panthers fought back the entire second half and then tied it on a 3-ball by Romain Martin with about 10 seconds to play. Then to lose it in the final second was rough.

Another disappointing 1-4 start for Mike Miller in his 4th year. Two close games against IPFW, and they couldn't pull out either one.

Tough loss for the women, falling by 4 at Illinois, after having a 12 point halftime lead. Coming that close to beating a good Big Ten team on the road, though, speaks volumes about how good this team can be.

Not as good of luck for the Men's team, as the lost the opener to Ball State 72-59. EIU fell behind 23-6, and never recovered, although they closed to 60-54 with about 3 minutes left.
